Short Biography
I was born in 1991 in Switzerland. Growing up I always had a fascination with music. While most other kids my age were singing along to nursery rhymes, I was singing along to my Dad's Beatles collection. After trying multiple different instruments throughout elementary school, which varied from piano to violin, I finally decided to try drumming. After my first lesson I was mesmerized and after a couple of years there was no doubt about it that I would make music my career.
Throughout the years I have played in multiple different bands with styles ranging from Hard rock to Jazz to Post Rock. I have also been asked multiple times to sit in and play a few shows with groups that needed a drummer. Most of my work was unpaid with the exception of The Howling Mo Company, which is a Hendrix and 70s Rock cover band. The most noteworthy of my own groups would be Eleocity, Lylac and Adessa on Bay State, all of which recorded and released 3-4 track EPs.
After playing multiple shows and volunteering to teach some young children the basics on drums, I was asked to teach two classes at the international school in the town I lived in. In these two hour classes I taught the kids (ages 10 - 12 and 13-14) the basics of rhythm, improvisation, listening and learning to sing a pop song of their choice. This experience was very positive and is one of the reasons that I decided to become a Music Educator.
